lyrics

I think winter is just around the corner, because I’m starting to ignore her. But she’s convinced that I’m different and that without me she’s a blur. It’s freezing outside; feel like a loner. I’m walking alone with everybody else and I’m trying to convince myself that I’m different; still with it, and that I’ve got my health, that the look on their faces is ‘cause of something else. Forget the frozen urban air. Take a hit. Forget all your cares, and when you trip, just fly down those stairs. Is it true that life’s not fair, or do we deserve these nightmares? Take a pull, I forget all my cares, but when I trip I break my bones on these stairs. This silence is misused and left for nowhere, and I’m fine with that. But she’s convinced that I’m different and that without me, she’s a blur. It’s freezing outside; feel like a loner. I’m walking alone with everybody else, and I’m trying to convince myself that this distance, not existent, I’m not upon your shelf. Put me in my place, so I can be myself.
